Our 15 Rooms carry the same attention to detail that made Admiral Collingwood the man he was.

Our bedrooms are a perfect marriage of traditional style and modern comfort, bringing together antique furniture and period bathrooms with digital TV, free WI-FI and outstandingly comfortable beds.

All 15 Twin, Double rooms and Suites have bath or shower room en suites, with Deluxe Doubles featuring roll-top baths with separate showers, all finished to the very highest specification.

You’ll find Egyptian cotton sheets, Molton Brown toiletries and a environment full of understated class in all of our rooms.

Families are well catered for too, with adjoining rooms and cots available for babies.

As with everything we endeavour to do, our focus is on your enjoyment and comfort.

We also offer a disabled access twin room on the ground floor, with disabled spec en suite bathroom.

“We made our annual return trip to this excellent hotel Our bedroom was fantastic, warm and comfortable. The staff very professional and friendly. The whole of the hotel has a fantastic atmosphere. We enjoyed some amazing food during our long week end break. We have rebooked to return in 2015 and 2016”

Sometimes you just want to indulge, or maybe you wish to read the morning papers with breakfast in your own space. Who really needs a reason though? We give you the option of breakfast in bed, or in our beautiful Dining Room.

The Collingwood Arms is without doubt a building full or history and heritage – but we’ve tastefully refurbished it over the years and our well disguised secondary glazing provides you with extra quiet in your room.

If you were to read our Trip Adviser reviews, you would see a trend – our showers are constantly praised for their ideal temperatures and pressure. It’s a small detail but one that makes all the difference.
